Transhumanism Prologue

This sculpture with the hand merging with the phone, is a call to awareness about the increasing interdependence between humanity and technology. It serves as a reminder that the path to a technologically advanced future may come at a cost: one that could lead to the loss of our autonomy, privacy, and essential freedoms.

Angst

The sculpture “Angst” consists of a glass spring supporting a ten-pound steel ball. It is intended to capture the fragility and tension of societal equilibrium. I reimagined a pendulum, traditionally a symbol of balance and constant motion, into this precarious form, symbolizing how delicate and unstable our societal systems can be. The juxtaposition of the light, fragile glass and the heavy, unyielding steel ball amplifies this tension: while society may appear to be balanced, it is often supported by forces that are easily disrupted.

Mental Illness is not Always Clear

This sculpture is a commentary on the gap between the clarity that art can offer and the opacity of real-world understanding. I am hoping that it urges us to be more mindful and empathetic in how we engage with each other, recognizing that we often lack the full insight into the internal struggles that define us and others.

Got To Have Faith.

Faith is a commitment to hope and optimism in the face of life's inevitable uncertainties. Whether we're facing personal struggles, societal challenges, or moments of doubt, faith is often the thread that helps us carry on, even when the path is unclear.
